Reviews:Indeed, the At Worlds End soundtrack represents an evolution for composer Hans Zimmer. Whereas Dead Mans Chest had some superb tracks (The Kraken comes to mind), At Worlds End has some fantastic new themes. The highlights of the soundtrack include the new Hoist the Colors and At Worlds End themes which are wonderfully, and appropriately, adventurous, epic and pirate-y. The two form the musical centerpiece of the album and frequently appear, in multiple variations on the soundtrack. Furthermore, they represent some of the very best theme work that Zimmer has done on the three Pirate scores.
MMM Reviews:Yes, it's a strange new take on the trilogy to actually have a song with words. "Hoist the Colours" was introduced at an appropriate time, and I absolutely love Zimmer for doing such a take on the music. "Up Is Down" is arguably my favorite of all the songs on the soundtrack, but "Drink Up Me Hearties" ties in at a close second by being the only song with virtually every theme in the pirates trilogy encased into one amazing finale. "Multiple Jacks" is the weird, uncanny side of Jack that we all love, while "Jack Sparrow" (from Dead Man's Chest) is his more sober and clever side. This soundtrack is most definitely worth buying, though I seem to favor "Dead Man's Chest" just a bit more. But that is only my personal opinion.

"Bolt"

and

"WALL-E"

are next on the list! I'll have Treasure Planet and then Star Trek after those.
If anyone has a soundtrack to recommend, please do so! More music is always welcome!!
I'm hummung "Jack Sparrow" as I'm writing all of this. That is how awesome it is.
